The year that the Rodarte sisters passed to view films of horror seems to have borne its fruits: never their procession appeared more succeeded. Indeed, of the phantasmagoric atmosphere to tribal tattooings while passing by the musk odor accompanying the procession, each element of the show was apparently studied in depth. While forwarding a sand handle to their guests, Mulleavy sent a first index announcing the content of their estival collection. It went in fact to be there question of return to the sources, wandering in the desert of Nevada and of this dust covering the body of the first Amerindians.
Dispersed on the catwalk, this same sand thus accomodated the ambulations of an army the surviving ones, terrées since millenia in the middle of the Valley of Death. Covered with tribal signs, the wet hair and awkwardly nattée, these creatures let us haillons some luxurious split the fog then, posting an apprehensive silhouette but nevertheless sublime.
And so initially the pace of these esseulées young women seems to us familiar, it is enough that the glance is delayed on the composition of their behaviours to realize that Rodarte are here far from being repeated. Quite to the contrary, season after season, the two sisters look further into without slackening their reflexion around the matter, reaching little by little the quintessence of their Article.
Reduced to their more simple expression, the fabrics seem to have been worn to the screen, which forces them to mingle with others – in order to be able to cover a minimum the body of those being placed under their protection.
In addition, silks, laces, leathers and muslins pass very close to sublimates it when they are seen consumed by the infernal heat of the Valley of Death, then sticking to the flesh mannequins and disappearing by places.
And if they fight without slackening against the elements, these sauvageonnes does not forget any therefore their female DNA.
