Set on spangles, whooping-cough of All-New York, oscillating between glamour with old and creativity, Zac Posen bubbles of energy and does not cease alluring the stars who since his early beginnings made their small Mozart of it.
They are rare the creators who at 21 years manage to present their work on the New-Yorkais podiums, but what is it still more, it is that these same creators achieve the unanimity near criticisms. It was however the case of the young person Zac Posen, who in addition to being parvenu to allure the influential sphere people and editor associations – such as Anna Wintour – fell under the duration. Zac Posen was born with Soho, a district New Yorkean smart sore. But if he excels in the artistic matters, Zac suffers from dyslexia, which keeps it away of has and the congratulations of the jury. Nevertheless, this difficulty of reading will bring it closer to a classmate, Lola Schnabel (girl of the famous painter Julian Schnabel), which is also dyslexic. Both become very close friends, and at 15 years, Zac draws a dress for the little sister of Lola. This one will be photographed at the time of the evening to which it assists, and the dress will have its hour of glory.
At the same time, it enters in training course to the Institute Costume off the Metropolitan Museum off Art of New York, which enables him to approach closely the work of Madeleine Vionnet of which it discovers with amazement the draped ancient ones and the use of skew to emphasize the curves of a woman. That will mark it with life and will arise later in its creations. It also follows courses of the evening in Parson School, then enters in the designer Nicole Miller. In 1999, it obtains a station of assistant at Tocca, a young promising US claw, it does not have whereas 19 years… At this time two choices are offered to him: it can integrate the university or fly away towards London and the Saint Martins School. He chooses London, and so Holy Anne was famous to leave free course to the inspiration of her pupils, it is not nothing beside the Saint Martins School, whose watchword is to develop at all costs the personal universe of its students.
