For the season autumn/winter 2009-2010, the Spanish type of vine seems to have produced one of its best fermented. Incisive and terribly knack, Zara indeed manages to treat with relevance the musts season. The Iberian sign thus delivers an intelligent interpretation of the currents to us headlights of the autumn, while taking as a starting point claws such as Balmain, Fendi or Burberry…
So some doubted still recently the viability fashion of the come-back of the shoulder pads, they can today only re-examine their point of view. Indeed, time is not any more with the interrogation but well with the appropriation, the large signs – following the example Zara – having definitively sliced in favour of the maximum breadth. It should be said that by covering the subject in the middle of its 3 last collections, very the hype Balmain house was to end up influencing the farmhouse market…
The designers from Zara thus started to work around the new duet up-to-date volumes/shoulders. However, the exercise had beautiful being of most perilous, the result proves to be more convincing. Exceeding the stereotypes of the part pseudo fashion to the paces of quarterback, the new collection proposes creations where the control overrides extravagance trendy.
Admittedly, the shoulders widened, but the minimalism of the remainder of the cut as well as the palette traditional (black and gray) made it possible to exceed the anecdotic one with the profit of the ready-made clothes. In addition, extravagant the 80 ‘ S constitute the screen of this collection in vain, Zara manages despite everything to confer becoming and unexpected sobriety to them by treating them in filigree. One finds trousers knack raising thus length 7/8, of the white blouses for working girl androgyne, the fine skirts draped as well as elegant coat dresses out of wool cloth to the round lines…
And if the part tailoring version the Eighties of Zara proves to be most convincing, one will be also sensitive to his topic Western wear, referring to the collection Ralph Lauren of 1978.
This said, while wanting absolutely to deliver its own version of the one of the must cuts announced season, Zara makes a fashion false step. Indeed, the cuissardes with stiletto heels appear smarter in vain on the ex-egery of Calvin Klein (Toni Garrn, shootée here by David Sims), they appear finally enough cheap on the site of the sign. Without speaking about the artificially torn slims that Zara is obstinated to propose and who are definitively not an good idea…
Remain the case of the many parts in false fur (referring to the Fendi procession) which, if they appear with their advantage on the photographs of David Sims, will have to prove reliable in shop.
In spite of these light flat, the opus Zara 2009-2010 proves nevertheless indeed desirable. It is enough to be convinced some to note the already unreasonable width of our wishlist: shouldered jacket, blouse sleeves leg, wool cloth blazer, bonnet piqué with the ray man or LBD of Balmain inspiration…
